Manufacturing process
Latex Extraction
Latex is extracted from the rubber tree, which is a milky liquid.

Compound blending
More than 10 different raw materials, including latex, are mixed in a temperature-controlled tank.

Sheerlon Molding Technology
The compounds are poured into the dipping tank, where rotating glass molds are immersed.
• A very thin layer of compound forms on each mold.
• This dipping machine is fully computer-controlled, maintaining optimal conditions.
• Afterward, the condom is removed from the mold and vulcanized. Vulcanization makes the condom stronger.

Safety controls
Each condom undergoes an electronic hole detection test: if a condom has a hole, it is automatically rejected.
• Condoms that pass this stage are then subjected to at least 5 additional sampling tests, including the water leakage test, tensile test, burst test, among others.

Lubrication and packaging
Each condom is automatically packaged in its wrapper while lubricant is added.
Both the lubricants and the packaging materials are also tested under Okamoto’s strict standards.

Packing
The packaged condoms are then packed into boxes.
